Situation:Small Law firm, long time Time Matters user but felt that he never was using the software as it was intended.Critical Business Issues: Was hesitant to upgrade after seeing limited new features in newest version.
Reasons: Wanted to utilize the new version 9 features and streamline the interface to make it easier to enter and retrieve data, even by experienced users.
Results: Installed 7 Second System feature package, which simplifies interface, highlights new version 9 searches and data entry methods and streamlined focus to task at hand. Performed 2 sessions of 2 hour training sessions and users were able to retrieve and enter data noticeably faster and recapture more billable time as more data was being entered and tracked.
Hand written checks needed to be entered into Quickbooks and TimeSlips separately. Many times, the matter was billed before the data entry caught up. Expenses rarely reconciled.
